SBOM – Small Body Octave Mandolin
The Small Body Octave Mandolin or SBOM retains the tonal characteristics of the SBB but with a slightly shorter scale length the left hand stretches are a wee bit easier, making this an ideal instrument for melody and session rhythm playing. It has a great sound with the characteristic bouzouki top end clarity.
The deeper body accentuates the bass end and mids and gives the tone a full richness with excellent projection, sustain and the ability to cut through.
